In order to give you the best experience possible, we are upgrading you to our app-based video service — HomeStream TV! With HomeStream TV, you will no longer need cable boxes and you can add more Cloud DVR hours, watch programs that aired up to 72 hours ago, restart a program, and MORE!

As part of the upgrade, the current video equipment in your home owned by Home Telecom will need to be replaced by a compatible streaming device, which you may already own. Be sure to check out our Compatible Device list to make sure you are ready to make the switch. ACTIVATE HOMESTREAM TV

These simple instructions will detail exactly what you need to do to activate the HomeStream TV app and will clearly list the equipment that needs to be returned.

Step 1: Confirm You Are a Home Telecom Internet and Video Subscriber. Call 888-746-4482 to create your HomeStream TV account. Once you've signed up, an email will be sent to you with a link to create your password. Please be sure that we have your email on file that is associated with your preferred app store account (i.e. Amazon, Apple, etc). This will help you easily complete Step 4.

Step 2: Make Sure You Have a Compatible Streaming Device such as Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, a compatible Smart TV, or an iPad to download the HomeStream TV app. Click here to review a complete list of compatible devices.

Step 3: Log in to your Amazon, Google Play, or Apple device with your standard credentials.

Step 4: Connect to Your Wi-Fi and Download the App. The HomeStream TV app can be found where you access your other streaming apps by searching "homestreamtv"! It's downloadable right to your compatible Smart TV or streaming device at the click of a button.

Step 5: Log in with Your HomeStream TV Credentials that you created in Step 1 in order to access your Video package. The line-up of channels will include all of your current subscriptions.

Step 6: Customize Enchanced Features such as Parental Controls, Personalized TV and Cloud DVR to your viewing preferences.

RETURN YOUR EQUIPMENT

Now that you are set up with the latest in video entertainment, it is time to disconnect and return your expiring equipment.
DO NOT proceed with removing your equipment until you have successfully logged in to HomeStream TV!
If you are unsure if your equipment matches whats described below, our install team can preform these steps for you. Request a professional removal of your boxes from the form below.

Step 2: Disconnect Your Expiring Equipment. Be sure to ONLY disconnect the indicated equipment. Removing more than what is instructed may result in loss of internet service! Call 888-746-4482 immediately if this happens.

Users of HomeStream TV service are required to supply their own compatible internet connected device on which they may download the HomeStream TV app and stream the service. Subscription to HomeStream TV programming package and internet speed of 6 Mbps per stream are required to receive HomeStream TV service. Not available on all streaming devices. Quality of stream may vary depending upon a variety of factors, including the environment, number of devices connected to your internet, age of device, and the type of device used for streaming. In the event you experience an interruption in your internet connection, HomeStream TV will be affected. Restart and Replay is enabled/disabled on an individual show and/or network basis dependent on allowances in content agreements. Recordings on Cloud DVR will be deleted after 1 year. Homestream TV product details, channel lineups, pricing, and availability are subject to change. Additional restrictions may apply.
