Help! I have no internet after a storm or power outage.
Ninety percent of the time, when you don’t have internet service after a storm or power outage, it’s likely a tripped GFI in your garage or another area outside the home, which is usually where your APC (power supply for your fiber card) is located. Once the tripped GFI has been located and reset, the power should be restored to the outlet, including the outlet supplying power to your APC.

What is hardwiring a device?
Hardwiring is when a device directly connects to the Internet rather than over Wi-Fi. This can be beneficial when you need a more stable and faster connection, such as when gaming or streaming high-definition video. To hardwire a device, find the ethernet port on the back of the device, connect an ethernet cable to it and then find one of the yellow ports on the back of the router to make a direct connection.
Why should I use the Call Before You Dig Line?
It's crucial to ALWAYS use the Call Before You Dig Line. This simple step helps ensure that as a customer of fiber, coax, CAT 6 or any other electrical wire, it doesn’t get hit or dug up, keeping you and your home safe.
Why is the Wi-Fi signal shaped like an umbrella?
The Wi-Fi signal looks like an umbrella because most routers send their signal out and down, similar to the shape of an umbrella. That means you must consider where you place the Wi-Fi router in your home. To ensure that your coverage area is maximized, we strongly advise placing your router towards the center of your home, on the main floor.
