South Carolina Ag + Art Tour – This free, self-guided tour of local markets and farms features local South Carolina artisans. Kids and families alike will enjoy seeing where local food is grown and artists in action. Musicians will also be onsite, and these weekend events will be a fantastic way to learn more about South Carolina’s rural life.
Second Sunday on King – The second Sunday of June, July and August is the ideal time to explore King Street. Ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of the 10 Best Shopping Streets in the U.S., you can stroll, shop, dine or enjoy live music during this time, as it is vehicle-free and pedestrian-only.
Beaches – Spend the day at the beach! Whether you’re exploring Kiawah or Seabrook Islands, you can wander along the preserved land that is superb for sunbathing, walking, biking or beachcombing.
Moncks Corner 4th of July Celebration – Held on June 29, you won’t want to miss the 4th of July Festival at Moncks Corner. Admission and parking are free but arrive early to enjoy the live bands, artists, food trucks and vendor market.
Patriots Point Fireworks Festival – This July 4, you won’t want to miss the spectacular fireworks festival at Patriots Point. Many families enjoy tailgating and packing picnics to enjoy this fun-filled day.
