Don’t Miss These 2023 Christmas Events in Charleston
- Holiday Lights Driving Tour – You and your family won’t want to miss this year’s Holiday Lights Driving Tour at 1 Riverwood Drive in Moncks Corner. Admission is $10 per vehicle, and all proceeds from this event benefit local charities. Held November 24 through December 30 but closed December 24 and 25, this event is sponsored by several local companies, including Home Telecom. December 1, 2023, is Home Telecom’s night to celebrate with the community, so stop by and visit our team!
- Town of Moncks Corner Christmas Parade – Join the Town of Moncks Corner on December 2, 2023, at 6:00 PM at the Moncks Corner Recreation Complex for the annual Christmas parade. Holiday in the Park – Gather with friends and family to celebrate this year’s holidays. Entry to this event is included with paid admission to the aforementioned Holiday Lights Driving Tour. December 8, 9, 15, 16, 22 and 23 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The entrance is at Old Santee Canal Park at 900 Stoney Landing Road, Moncks Corner.
- Awendaw Christmas Parade – The annual Awendaw Christmas Parade is scheduled for December 9 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, weather permitting. The parade will begin at the Sewee outpost, head up Seewee Road and onto Goodwine Circle. Vintage cars will be in the parade with Awendaw celebrities tossing candy, Santa Claus will make an appearance and you’ll even experience the beat of the high-stepping marching band!
- Summerville Christmas Parade – This annual event features a theme, and this year’s is Christmas Movies! Promoting positivity throughout Summerville, this event aspires to capture the spirit of the holiday season. The family-friendly parade is on December 10 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
